Foundry Services
We have state-of-the-art facilities with clean rooms for our MOCVD reactor bays, test and diagnostic facilities,
wafer processing and chip testing. We also have a facility for the development of packaging solutions. Being
co-located on the site of Philips Research gives us access to a full spectrum of world-class diagnostic facilities
should we need to supplement our own in-house capabilities.

In the past Cedova personnel have manufactured successful products in all these systems including but not restricted
to Fabry Perot and DFB lasers at a variety of wavelengths in the red and infrared region (DWDM C & L band) of the
optical spectrum as well as pump laser sources. The group has experience in broad area ridge and buried waveguide
structures, EMLs, SOAs and PIN photodiodes as well as passive structures, i.e. AWG and beam expanders.

Epitaxial Growth
Cedova operates both single and multi-wafer reactors for 2" and 3" wafer growth and re-growth.
Process Capabilities Description of process capabilities offered in addition to epitaxy.
Wafer Analysis and Test Capabilities
A successful foundry requires good diagnostic tools. Cedova has access to an extensive suite of capabilities.

Cedova offers foundry services for optoelectronics in the wavelength region 650 nm through 2000 nm. Cedova will not
offer products which compete in the same space as those of its foundry customers. Cedova is a pure play foundry!
